Untermenschen & Golden Boys.
“Sedition is the inevitable consequence of tyranny.” – Sebastian Castellio.
Mr PC, Andy Moore of NRL fame and his partner in crime Natty Elliott, find it, ‘quite frankly … offensive’ even ‘beyond outrageous’ that a TV station, and he means Channel 9, can dictate to his NRL just what teams can come and go in this wonderfully hypocritical ‘national league’. National league my arse! You know, there other sports, and the fact that this National League has so bamboozled Our ABC via bribes I’d imagine – though they may call it market liberality – into forcing us others, us untermenschen, out here in the wilderness in having to put up with Rugby League to the exclusion of other sports for hours and hours and hours every week is a disgrace to the National broadcaster. But, at the same time, to have to put up with this abominable political correctness – that censors actuality from our sports and in fact more than that, from our character – whether Andy & Natty like it or not – is appalling. They’re like little girls at a garden party who, ‘Oh .. can’t mention that name … Oh, disgusting behaviour not fit for dissemination to the public etc etc’ is patronising, and is censorship. We can’t talk about Les Boyd, a caller who wants to is ceremoniously cut off, Izzy Folou can’t be mentioned despite his extraordinary prowess at the sports he has played – and played for our country. Its appalling. On and on and on. Relentless coercion to one single point of view by the cowardly corruption of political correctness.
Don’t get me wrong; things like eye gouging and headbutting and biting don’t have any place in any of our sports, but censoring the fact that they happen is not the way to make them go away. And if we all really knew how many of the heroes of the past played our games – cops or criminals – then we would have complete silence from commentators such as these … Oh, joy.
So I hear that some poor old homeless dude has been beaten to death outside a refuge somewhere in this wonderful new world of ours. I don’t think it takes the drawing of a very long bow to see the correlation in the policies of our federal government, what with the criminalisation of homelessness and NewStart recipients, and the lack of funding to public services – especially those built on human morality like welfare and health – the collective pointing FOR US of our moral compasses toward the great cash grab, the working of secret miracles by our Priest- King and the continual lies, or worse, avoidance of questions and due process by his band of Merry Men. In their draconian belief in their divine rights and the dumbing down not only our sports, but of our national character – good or bad – through the coercion of censorship of some petty individual’s notion of the public good … I’m sleeping poorly; the King keeps waking me up and whispering demockracy in my ear.
… And what else do I have that has slapped me in the face over the past few days? … Oh, fake money for the criminals on NewStart, Junior Frydenberg’s lies regarding HIS economy, the King’s continual deceit. Pistol Pete’s oppression and torture of our political prisoners, unrepresentative representatives jumping on the King’s bandwagon to pander to the King’s Golden Boys and allowing the forced drug testing of the homeless and unemployed – who believe me can’t afford the drugs! This I know from experience, ’cause if I could afford them I’d sure be using a heap of ’em, if not to dull my senses to the disgrace that has become Australia, then certainly in order not to recognise that through my non existent choice I have to listen to Mr PC and his Natty fairy all fuckin weekend. Shee it!
“The democratic philosophy is based on man’s ability to reason, to decide for himself his own best interest, on man’s educability, and his conscience. Censorship denies all these premises. Regardless of the issues of truth or falsehood, danger of obscenity, free expression is invaluable for progress. Censorship cannot be justified in a democracy.”
