Once More. Into the Breech!

Once More. Into the Breech!

Their whole idea of ‘good governance’ is forcing through legislation. “This bill will become law! This will go through!” etc etc. Doesn’t say alot for the independence of our parliamentary representatives does it.

Id suppose that with such bloody minded confidence from the King’s Ministers, that there must be some secret information available that they coerce our representatives into voting for draconian laws with, that for some reason we, the Australian people, are in no need of knowing. Information that would be beyond our understanding. Information that we would misshandle if, as in a democracy, we were allowed to peruse? Thank God for the King! Thank god that we can take his word that no matter which of the King’s Evils assail us, Him and his Merry Band of Thieves are on top off it.

Yes, on top of it until the time to pass the buck is reached. Nasty word that – buck. Not something the Band of Thieves really like passing around is it. How is the New Christ going with that definition of retrograde corruption he’s been working on, O for such a long time now … Not something we’ve heard much about lately, is it?

I see that GetUp’s up in arms again about some new enforcement the Kings dreamt up regarding demockratic rights … And so they should be. Appears they’re worried that when the King coerces an illegal bill through his parliament they’ll not be able to protest it because it will be, well, it’ll be illegal to. Damned demockracy, always putting the breaks on just when you need them off.

I also see that certain sections of our society reckon its time to take the gloves off … We’re a bit dull, a bit behind the King … say it’s time that we fought violence with violence. Yes, well it does appear that that time is coming again, don’t it?

The right to oppose a corrupt parliament exists “by the same rule of right reason, and law of equity, as the soldiers of an army may oppose the general, when he turns the mouth of his cannon upon them.” – William Walwyn.
