Her guest today, an economic ideas man from some Melbourne think tank, says there’s been “no increase in productivity in the past 60 yrs.” Her guest, who is as usual contradicting all Miss Mandy says, – she is the ultimate libertarian, neo-libertine – he’s confused, she keeps jumping in and saying that in the end, as long as you make money out of it, it’s all good. Chocolate and sex toys too .. she says, they’re all good.

Now regarding ideas, she reckons that we have to get them from somewhere else. ? She also seems to have a thing with Men’s Sheds. “Pump some ideas into them” and ‘”get them moving in the Mens Shed”, she says. You’ve just gotta love her .. so vacant. She says a few ‘ideas from outside’ will get the lazy old buggers in the Sheds working, make them profitable. Get them to ‘share’. Its called economic dynamism .. she says, about guidance in the trading of ideas. He guest is silent. Not sure why he’s here on her little show. Mmmm. Not for the chocolate?
