A Discrete Commentary on Lawful Opinion.

A Discrete Commentary on Lawful Opinion.

Alan ‘the Tick’ Tudge has dismissed judicial commentary on his abuse of Human Rights as mere twaddle. He says the judge was only giving his opinion and that his opinion is wrong.

“No man has a right to pry into his neighbours private concerns and the opinions of every man are his private concerns … But when he makes those opinions public … when he once comes forward as a candidate for public admiration, esteem or compassion, his opinions, his principles his motives, every action of his life, public or private, become the fair subject of public discussion.” – William Cobbitt.

How is it that these Ministers of the Crown can say things that us, the people whom they represent, can’t? Contempt! – thats how. Sheer contempt for those they represent, and utter contempt for Democracy.

Of course, the Ancient Constitution says they can – and that’s what counts … Yep. Thats right kids – corruption! Ah corruption, remember that? That neoliberal ideal that the King’s lawyer (and the Tick’s criminal cohort) Christ Porter, has been struggling to define these past five years. Perhaps he needs a little push … where’s his dissembling disgrace Pistol Pete Dutton when he’s wanted?

May we thank the king’s good and gracious gods, that our opinions have the protection of the LAW … That each and every one of us, Lucky Countrymen all, can stand tall on our very own soap-boxes and – provided its in English – voice our opinions under the full and equal protection of the Law!

“… non can love freedom heartily but good men; the rest love not freedom, but license, which never have more scope or more indulgence than under tyrants.” – John Milton, Areopagitica.

And since, this week, our constitutionally correct parliament will be revelling in corruptions, we must realise that none of this is important. This week we’re discussing PUBLIC DOSH – where it comes from; who owns it; who gets to spend it; who gets to hoard it; who gets paid from it … when it becomes private. Who gets to sniff it, to roll in it, to eat it and breathe it … Who gets to count it; who drives and dribbles it.

Human rights, civil rights, democratic rights, freedoms – piffle; Dosh! It keeps our moral compasses straight and true!
