Do you not think, Gladys, that those of us who find ourselves in a ‘much too busy period’ would not think of taking any sort of drugs to get us by but when it comes to the time, and our business is finished, we like to let go too. Gladys, your draconian ignorance; is it real? What informs your choice not to allow others to find their own ways, ways that work for them, to wind down and relax. If we break the laws Gladys, then the same consequences apply to us that apply to drunks. Don’t they Gladys? If we end up in hospital through our own stupidity, do we not deserve the same care as a drunk? If we’ve done something stupid whilst under the influence, then do not the same laws apply to us as apply to us whether we are under the influence or not? Do we not have the same right to expect that our prefered substance is as clean as your alcohol. If we drink Metho who is held responsible for our criminality … Not you Gladys.

Is an alcohol overdose not as bad as an MDMA overdose. How would you know Gladys, since you don’t take the advice of those who do know. Is it just the money Gladys?

If a consultative, enlightened and democratic government had control over your busy life Gladys – as impossible at it would be – and crimalised the drug of your sets choice Gladys, would you suddenly swap over to Ice? You know, I don’t think that you would. Nor do I expect that you should. Now, Gladys, if you weren’t too busy running a State to answer this, I’d expect that your single answer would be that ‘because its against the law’. Why is it against the law? Is not one man’s personal choice equal to anothers?
