On Jacqui Lambie’s Abuse of Parliament.
You know when Madam first appeared I thought, this is good – a breath of fresh air & some ordinary common sense & a bit of unadulterated democracy to be thrown into the putrid Holy House – in spite of the rigged process under which she was elected – but now, what is this … her second term? Her second term and that House of Disgrace has already corrupted her.
This stand she’s taking – and she’s not making the mistake of calling it democratic – in threatening the people of Australia by saying that she will vote ‘one way or the other’ being dependent on a representative of an independent group – a Union – standing down, is an appalling abuse of her meager power. (She’s in fact demanding that that other group sack their representative.)
John Setka, whom Madam is demanding be sacked as the elected representative of his Union, the CMFEU, is actually the representative of more Australians than Madam Lambie is. She has no more right to demand Setka’s sacking than I have to demand that the Good King loses his head. I may wish for it, I may advocate it, I may dream about it; but I have no right to demand it and less right to ransom my vote for a selfish petty endeavour. I have no right to hold a gun to the head of my fellow Aussies just because I don’t have any respect for the King – even if a very small group of Aussies had voted me into the Great Debating Club. I have no right to say … Well, if the King isn’t taken out the back and shot forthwith; then, I’m going to vote to use the Great Barrier Reef as a holding pen for coal waste – what is this, Democracy based on petty spite?
Madam Lambie’s joining the Kings Party; since those are the methods that His Disgrace and his Band of Thieves are using to coerce the people of Australia into accepting their intelligent designs. And which, by the way Madam, we all object to – the method. This is the same method Too Busy Gladys uses in her holy war against non-prescription drugs and her opposition to the right to our own lives & the same method that Anna P’s using to cover up her moral compass, and trading her vote, by banning the Right of Free Assembly in Old Joh’s Kingdom.
That ain’t Democracy Madam … I know that you’re new to the Game but that contract that you have with the people you call your constituency is the same contract that you have with the rest of the people of Australia. Its to go into the Grand Debating Club & to debate issues fairly and to come to a consensus on behalf and in the best interests of all the people of Australia .. whether you like them or not! All 25 million (or 21 million if you’re the Australian XIs coach) of them.
For you to vote against something that you’ve professed to support, or to sell your vote to the King for a hospital in your backyard ain’t the way its supposed to be done. That ain’t Democracy … Madam!
