An Easter Message for Our King.
The Kings been praying for us again – lord I do wish he wouldn’t do that, its disgracefully demeaning. This is where the King’s got this all wrong, he believes in Hell. Hell on earth .. which is where its always been. Fascists need Hell, don’t matter that the Pope prayed it out of existence, the neoLibNats prey it right back in for our benefit. Both heaven and hell are earth bound concepts.
“I believe in a fair go for those who have a go, and what that means is part of the promise that we all keep as Australians is that we make a contribution and don’t seek to take one,” the prime minister said, as he drew his next little sum from the public purse. All sounds fine of course .. as long as you can believe in the Hell the King has in mind for us all. Begs the q, though, what do we do with those Aussies that have never ceased to make a contribution – true not as the king would like, but – to equity, equality and .. dare I say, fraternity. To a better future not reliant on Fascist dribble down. For a better future that is inclusive – for ALL Australians and not just those who worship at the alter of Divine Right. For those of us that would not be ruled by fear and petty ignorance. For those of us crippled by social conscience?
Poverty as a moral question: do we have the collective will to end it? Well, we do, just not under a Fascist government. Poverty, poor people are what makes the Fascists rich .. that’s why we’re poor – fiscally speaking. One can’t have rich if it can’t be compared to poor … There must be conflict between those who would be rich and those whom the rich require to be poor. This is the King’s true meaning of ‘fair’ – a Fascist free for all.
“When all Australians do that, that’s when we get the fair go mentality and culture that has made our country strong today. So under our policies, if you’re having a go you’ll get a go. And that involves an obligation on all of us to be able to bring what we have to the table.” – provided of course that it supports the Kings visions.
“It doesn’t matter what level of ability you have, what your means are, where you live in this country. It matters that we all bring our best. Under my government, under our government, under a Liberal Nationals government, we will always be backing in those Australians who are looking to make a contribution not take one and, together, that’s how we make our country stronger.”
Now what this means, if we take a moment to listen, and don’t allow our eyes to glaze over because “here comes that heavily rehearsed line again”, is the prime minister of Australia believes the fair go is conditional. Its not for all Aussies, just his Australians – the dribblers.
Conditional? Conditional in that a fair go, as per the Kings feeble mind, means a fair go for his boys and those stupid enough to vote for such a limited future of unguaranteed dribble and neoliberal coercion. You could probably be forgiven if you thought a fair go means FAIR, you know equitable .. something like ‘from each according to his means to each according to his needs’ – that of course, is an old fashioned humanitarian viewpoint to take, that was the vision man once had of his collective future. And, a very Aussie value it once was. So what can I make of the Kings equity?
Its not equitable, its violent, its ignorant, its coercive. Hell, its Fascism.
‘Do you with your acts of favouritism toward the rich really believe in Jesus? … For if you show favouritism, you commit sin and are exposed as a transgressor of the law’ – Jesus of Nazareth, (James 2:1,9).
