The King Knows.
“The prime minister knows that many fed-up voters are looking at the Coalition, already, as losers.” – Katherine Murphy.
She’s gotta be joking .. don’t you think? Most of us are looking at the Coalition as morally bankrupt criminals. Thieves and corporate bully boys looking at nothing more than their pensions and dragging the good character of Australia down into the gutter with their Divine Rights.
The neoLibNats have no interest in the future, not even for their pampered children. Why? Because that would mean sharing. A ‘good’ future means democracy and the last thing these criminals want is democracy.
Now on a obviously related issue, the censure of Frizzy Anning by a ‘united’ Parliament – lord help us. They may censure him but sweeping people like him under the carpet, making a pretence that he is some rogue liberal, that he doesn’t represent the views of a section of our community is foolish in the extreme. We, us Aussies of all types and views need to know just what it is, what alternative views are out there shaping the King’s view of our future. If we don’t know, if we can’t discuss and debate even the views of the most criminally insane representatives, then we do not live in a democracy. We somehow tolerate, without censure, such comments as “Oi! You don’t get an opinion .. if you want an opinion then get yourself elected to the Liberal Party.” by such illustrious cretins as Pistol Pete Dutton, or comments by the openly fascist government lawyer & generational welfare cheat Christ Porter about non neoLibNats being “second class citizens … dragging the first class citizens into a curtailment of their prosperity”, along with all the other appallingly divisive and unconscionable comments made by the King and his Merry Little Men over the past few years, then why on earth should we prevent Dopey Anning, Mark the Mugger or an idiot like Mousy Coleman, as examples, from expressing their mindless ignorance?
Those of us who are a little older can remember the draconian ignorance of Little Johnny – the architect of 21st Century Divine Right. We didn’t run about then trying to suppress his idiotic utterances – we heard them and learned from them, much as the Millennials hear and, to our disgrace, learn from the current King. Of course back then, we still believed that we were an indivisible part of the whole world, but back then we believed we could be enlightened by ignorance as much as by truth.
Now our powerful and noble leaders seem to be saying that we can shut out all the baddies if we can only pretend that they don’t exist and pretend that the neoLibNats Coalition is going to deliver us Democracy .. not only that, they’re going to enhance it for us.
“A fundamental of Westminster democracy is that government ministers do not give directions to the police. It is an abuse of power.” – Geoffrey Robertson.
