Mistaking Nazism for Fascism or more correctly hiding Fascism under the decorations of Nazism. When all things old are new again. All this cry about the terrors of Nazism – and its significant that certain politicians haven’t bothered to buy into the condemnation of the recent face-off down at St Kilda … Its how it always starts. Its a testing of the waters. Perhaps thats why here in Australia it always tries its traction down at the Beach. Cronulla, St Kilda.

In the early 1980s we used to get National Action skinheads piling down to the beach at Nth Steyne … They had as much right to the beach as we did, come down for a picnic, a game of soccer a bit of push and shove along the Esplanade. Those were the years of Reagan and Thatcher .. safer years than now. Not safer for the would be Fascists – we belted them, and they didn’t come back.

Hard Right Conservatism? Back then we were still too close to the 2nd World War and back then they were guttless thugs playing games but they’ve grown up now and they’ve multiplied and they’ve raised their kids. And now these kids are testing the waters again. Its always the same, Fascism is a part of our society and it waits always in the wings for its opportunity and its always testing the waters. Fascism thrives on Draconian Nationalist Governments. Like the one Australia has now. It tests the water.

It test the water on behalf or the Rule by Fear of Law. Here in Australia at the present time we have King who believes that men can only be ruled by fear and must wait for god to give them peace and dignity. We have a generation who have become complacent in political participation, a generation who – while they don’t know what it is they want – they say that they dont want Democracy. They say it doesn’t work. They mean Demockracy and yes, that doesn’t work. Its the problem with corruption of ideals that once led to Democracy. Its the problem of having a system that says that our representatives are beholden first to the System and only then to us. Its the problem with having a Parliament whose members are members of a Club. And while of course, non of us believe in god anymore the Club believes in Divine Right and operates in Secrecy. Born to rule.

Its so easy to pretend. Pretend that idiot Nazism is Fascism and to stamp and rant and rave about its trappings in order to conceal its ideologies. Fascism is Corporativism, its Divine Right, it the Rule by Fear of Law. Its Market-Liberalism in self-defence. Its the Dribble Down Affect. Its the rule of wise old men leading stupid young men down the trail of selfish narrow interest .. and always for the public good of course. Its the belief that Parliament is full of honourable representatives who look after our own private interests for our own good in Secrecy.

Why can’t the children play out in the streets anymore? Because there are signs that say they can’t and necause their Mummy’s & Daddy’s are afraid they’ll learn something bad and hurt themselves.
