Candle Power

Candle Power

So, were worried about separating kids from their mums and dads now … a couple a days after we all got together and had another day of false apologies. We are a shameful lot. Hollow Men (& women!) …

… And we secretly bring a few kids here into our pure and noble country from our penal resort out in the Pacific .. jumping our pristine shores to keep Pistol Pete happy. Why? So they aren’t subjected to prosecution for wanting to have some sort of control over their little lives. Do we bring their mums & dads .. ? No! They’re a security risk. A security risk my arse! I read that a dozen imprisoned men who sought refuge from persecution and a possible better life for their families – here in our beautiful Australia – risk the security of the Kings ideology. Wow. And our ancestors fought and died so we, their kids, could isolate ourselves from all the nasty little things in this world! Wow!

Candle power .. that’s progress. A world lit only by fire. How they must hanker for the ole days, these neo-liberal regressives. Looks to me like were building up to another hollow apology in a decade or two – I don’t think our world has much more than that to give – I see young Gladys and her hand picked bunch of grapes .. er, experts .. have decided to kill kids with ignorance. Shouldn’t be surprised now should we? Ignore-ance, the name of the game.

So Dear Glad and mighty Mike, her minister for box heads, have said, bad drugs are good drugs. Let them kill. Revenue raising – $500 fines, which no doubt mum and dad will be paying – and longer, harsher prison terms for any one who doesn’t want to ‘do alcohol & cigarettes’! Sure makes a grown man cry .. unless of course you’re a man grown like Boxhead Mike Fuller. I think he gets quote of the day, ” no way, no way he wants to get his kids drugs tested … Absolutely not!” Idiot.

All this while Pistol Pete opens up another Child-Care Centre! Christ what gall .. raising em to kill em. Well, it’s profitable, and I suppose if you can give em bad drugs just as they get the vote, well .. he, he, he .. not much likelyhood of progress, a future, or ‘all the kings men’ losing their public pay jobs. Almost time to bring in the army?

More I think of it, I like the idea of giving young kids the vote. I do.

” .. a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in
defence of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason.” – Tom Paine.
