The Age of Grace

Shnotty’s doing a Royal Commission into Aged-Care .. tosser that he is. Says we’d better steel ourselves for some pretty disturbing findings particularly about non-compliance. Damned sure we will – non-compliance of his government with the wishes of the people for one. Says he needs to find out if he can afford old people – says we can’t, but is finding that old people dont seem to want to comply with his vision of the future. Surely he must realise that most of the old people in aged-care are only there because they’re not allowed to die with dignity and in peace.

He’s probably preparing some edict that says they ain’t old til they’re dead. Maybe he’ll increase the retirement age to 150 – save cash & get em out of the Aged-Care system … Its working for the disabled, put them all on junior Newstart, assign a minder to them & ‘viola’, less disabled people. Then, when they fail some kids understanding of compliance you can get them off the books altogether – save money for parliamentarians salaries – it’s a form of euthanasia, which of course, isn’t euthanasia.

I think I’m with him here – it’s gods will. Does get him into a little problem though – caught between a rock and a hard place, as they say – exercising gods will by holding a Royal Commission which his minister says, ‘ .. is going to waste $200 million & the commission is only going to tell them that they need to spend more of their treasure on Aged-Care.’ – well any old fool could’a told him that for free!

Now I’m betting they’re going to stop paying people to have kids. Not sure they’ve quite made this link yet, and of course, while Pistol Pete’s whispering in gods other ear they may have difficulty in making it. Lets face it, god didnt close Hell just to overcrowd Heaven, did she.
