Pistol Pete the leader of the neo-liberal Nationals. I say it cannot happen.. cannot! It would however be just the ticket to strike fear into the complacent Mars travelling juniors of Australia. For me it means death or extreme joy.

Can you imagine the electorate of Dickson running the country? It already feels like they are.. I suppose thats demockracy? What, percentage wise, does Dirty Dutton hold his throne of Dickson by? 1.6%? 1.6%! Can we assume, that – like his neo-liberal National mentors – he ignores the 49% that somehow didnt have their ‘vote’ assigned away from them? Or, does he assume that his rule by fear of law has cowed anyone with even a hint of social conscience? Keep their heads buried deep in the muck … Through fear. Complacency as a euphemism for scared.

Now, how the rest of the neo new guard feel about this, the Fascists, will be interesting. Is Pistol Pete a sacrifice? Is the sacrifice worth it? I mean Pete’s not exactly an intellectual.. and intellectuals are not the things the new guard pay much attention to anyhow, but, Pete’s a bully – and bullies are exactly what these neo-liberal Nationals are going to require for their glorious future. A future that, well quite frankly, we dont need to worry about. We’re all being incorporated.
